Play Wild Forest School offer outdoor sessions that can help all children develop some of life’s most important skills.
We are delighted to be offering Play Wild Forest School sessions at Little Learners. It is with pleasure that we are currently able to offer these sessions to our Little Learners at no additional cost to families.
Starting on Monday 5th October and moving forward, the fun, interactive and engaging outdoor sessions will be led by a member of Nursery Crew using bespoke learning pods provided by Play Wild.
They will take place weekly as listed on the dates listed below;
|Dates||Times (in 30 minute groups)|
|Monday 21st September – Monday 12th October||1.30pm – 2.30pm|
|Wednesday 23rd September – Wednesday 14th October||9.30am – 10.30am|
Little Learners will be supported by members of the Nursery Crew at all times. The fully risk assessed sessions will last 30 minutes and children will take part in their usual classroom groups. Other precautionary measures that will be in place include providing individual resources for the children to use, fully sanitising all other resources between groups and children and adults washing their hands before and after each session.
We hope to be able to schedule more sessions next term on different days of the week.
"It has been widely recognised that being in a natural outdoor environment can support all aspects of children’s development and research is proving that mental health and overall well-being is also greatly improved when individuals have access to the outdoors"
Louise, Forest School Teacher
