eyLog
What is eyLog?
As parents, the first day of handing over your child to the care of another can be an emotional time. As your child adjusts to experiences without you at Little Learners most parents continue to want to share in these times. eyLog facilitates this, by enabling a personal journal to build over time.
eyLog enables you to understand your child’s development on a more regular and real-time basis. We can share a child’s learning journey with you, increasing your involvement in the activities at the nursery. You receive a unique login on the system and are notified automatically by email as soon as a new observation is published to your child’s learning journey or when any reports are shared with you by the nursery.
eyLog makes it possible for you to contribute observations from home too! Be it something your child does for the first time or during a holiday/vacation, making the learning journey even more comprehensive and enabling ‘parents as partners in learning and development’ of a child in their early years.

Our Curriculum
At Little Learners we pride ourselves in ensuring the children are given a variety of opportunities to learn and develop in different ways during their nursery session.
Each learning intent is based across a two week period where the Nursery Crew will provide provocations to support the children with their learning. The learning intent can be tailored down to an individual child’s interest and appropriate learning ability, enabling the Nursery Crew to give the best and most appropriate support.
At the start of every new learning intent, the Nursery Crew will open an observation, take photos and make notes on how each child is working towards their learning. After the two weeks the Key Person will then put the observation together so families can see the learning each child has achieved over that period of time.
The Nursery Crew will be given time out of the room, where possible, to write up the children’s observations, however, we like to ensure that the care and learning provided to the children within the classroom day to day is of a high standard which is why at times, you may not always receive an observation at the end of every two weeks. Please be assured all observations will be uploaded as soon as possible.
